Finding your way through Menopause can be frustrating and lonely.
Join your menopausal sisters to discover what and how you can naturally manage this transition.
'Pause Retreat' is about integrating Nutrition, Yoga, Reflexology, Acupressure and
Lymphatic Drainage.
With these tools your self-care routine will flourish and so will your sense of self.
We recognize that some of us may need to take HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy)
We support this and work within its boundaries.
We care about your overall wellbeing and will provide you with a safe and secure space, knowledge, and tools needed to be healthy through your transition.
It is our focus to share our modalities with you,
our menopausal sisters, whether you have naturally progressed into Menopause or it has been
medically induced.
Let us help you achieve optimal wellness.
Reversing our pubescent selves, that's effectively what is occurring within our bodies.
Do you remember as a teenager feeling low on energy, wanting peace and quiet, not understanding why you were moody, scratchy and everyone annoyed you?? Welcome to round two of that. Once again our hormones are drastically changing, reversing our ability to create life, changing gears and readying us for the roles of Grandmother, Great Aunts and Role Models.
Menopause, most of us are through it before we even know there is a prior stage, PERIMENOPAUSE, this is when all the 'crazy' kicks in, it can be a few months to 10 years... Then we cease to bleed,
but sometimes the symptoms persist. How we journey through POSTMENOPAUSE greatly depends on how we have walked the 'peri' years.
We help you understand your symptoms, guide you with natural and creative support to help bring balance.
Liz shares her own experience, knowledge, research and modalities to help your body find its natural balance again. Each of us experience a different set of symptoms, yet the body can be stimulated the same way and interpret it in its own language, finding harmony.
Jeanie has an amazing creative 'tool box' of which she helps to guide your body through her yoga practice, and nutrition knowledge to bring balance to our physical and emotional states.

Grow in the Wilderness
The beautiful and serene Baton Valley Homestead is a replica of the old Gold mining lodging house, located up there in the gold fever hayday of the 1800's. Housing up and downstair accommodation, ball room, large kitchen / dining room, bountiful gardens and loads of camping space for your tent, it is nestled in the foothills of the Baton Range; There's also a tipi for the adventurous to sleep in, pristine waters of the Baton River to swim in and a stunning dawn chorus.
International Holistic Practitioner
After graduating ITEC Reflexology (2012) Liz moved to the USA, opened her Holistic Practice, became a board member with Reflexology Association of California, studied Massage and Acupressure and went on to teach at that same school, before returning home to NZ.
Her focus is helping women naturally progress through their menopause journey

Definitely!
I wish I had known this info before I started into Perimenopause, I would have understood that my moods swings, frustration, achy joints and weight gain were all symptoms of my changing body; I would have been less harsh on myself.
The tools and techniques you will learn in this Retreat are relatable to all aspects of our lives, arts for wellness helps us creatively understand ourselves and let go of fear, frustration and limiting beliefs. Integrated modality flows can help our physical and emotional body at all stages. If you have already gone through menopause, either naturally or medically you can nurture and process these changes with more knowledge and clarity. If you are comfortable doing so you may wish to share your journey enabling others to further understand what may lay ahead.
